Honestly, I think it's a little shitty when they say that. But I can understand why they would confess knowing you are aro/ace. I think people confessing knowing that they're going to get rejected is just a way to move on. Hearing a rejection directly from the person rather than their own thoughts can really help someone move on and find confrontat......
