Personally for me I started reading yaoi around the age of eleven and since I’ve discovered it it’s been the highlight of my life. I can’t really help but I CAN say that when I started reading BL, I was 12-13. I learned about sex younger than that. If you really don’t want them to see the sexual stuff, try to lead them to Shounen Ai or the more fluff based stuff. You can also try to get them into BL novels, which you can find on NovelUpdates!
