a quick PSA from a MLM trans man

here are my personal stances on LGBT and BL manga issues that i think people on this site need to hear and be aware of, please listen to our opinions and not other non-lgbt members:

- if you are a woman, straight man, or a non-binary person consuming MLM content you are not inherently fetishising gay men. you are just enjoying content that happens to be MLM. by separating it and referring to it as fetishisation if you just enjoy it, you are in my opinion being unintentionally homophobic

- please stop using the word queer to describe the LGBT community. it's a slur and not everyone is comfortable reclaiming it. as a gay man, being called queer by for example a straight person makes me exetremely uncomfortable. instead just say LGBT !

- the terms fujoshi / fudanshi are inherently harmful and have harmful origins. instead, i'd recommend finding a different word as the meanings of these words are very yikes

- and instead of saying yaoi, i'd recommend BL! boys love flows much easier and includes all media of boys love, including western ones. the word yaoi has a lot of negative connotations!
