It was an indirect confession actually

Well it went like this, I asked this guy what was his crush's name and he said no. And I pushed on and just asked for the first letter of the girl's name ( previously I had already asked him what age she was and she was the same age as us and in the same school so I can easily guess who it was from a simple letter) and he said the letter was K and my name starts with the letter K and there were only 2 people in my school, and the same age as me has the letter K, me and another girl. Me being a dumbass and an insecure person didnt say my name cause like I didnt expect anyone would like me in that way. So I said the other girl's name cause like it made more sense as they knew each other longer then I knew him but surprise surprise after about 3 days my two best friends told me that he liked me and I was like WHAT? so yeah until now I regret it cause like I'm still single af and if only I hadn't been sooooo dense i would have a boyfriend now so yeah.
