well, you can't possibly do anything . it's their views and you possibly can't interfere with that. but if they are uncomfortable and doesn't accept you or your friend, it will be better to forget them. after all if they can't accept you completely, i don't think they are qualified to be your friend. some relationships don't really work out. anyway......   reply

Why are they uncomfortable? Is there a reason why they suddenly changed their mind? Ask them if you don't know. Maybe they just need time to be used of that. Or they don't know how they should act now(perhaps they think how not to give you false hopes if they are same gender or they are focusing about other people's opinions).
