Honestly, having a partner is overrated. I love having time and money to myself and not having stress from relationship issues. I hear people talking about the problems they have relationship wise and I'm just like "Is it really worth the stress and effort?" I wished society romanticized being single, because being single is pretty lit.   4 reply

Actually having time is a great perk, I believe. As I tend to be a very busy human being, I cannot imagine having a lover to take care of as well. The greatest perk of being single for me is not getting hurt.I don't have to cry when we break up.I don't need to feel heartbroken when I see that person cheating.I don't need to feel sad when we fight.I don't need to feel jealous. So that's why I think it's the greatest perk for me. ╥﹏╥   1 reply

This doesn't apply to all relationships of course, but it is easy to become codependent that after a while you forget who you are without the other pers......   1 reply

Freedom, hands down. I do what I want, when I want. Eat what I want, when I want (I'm lazy so I cook a bunch of food all at once and eat the same thing for days in a row). I don't answer to anyone but myself (huge pet peave of mine. I'm not a dog, child, or parolee: An adult shouldn't have to tell another adult where they are or what they're doing ......   3 reply

No one to judge me for my anime and manga preferences. And time, time is the best. But mostly no one to judge, because who wants to have an interest and be judged for it. Honestly, that sounds like the worst. Unless I find someone who either doesn't care or loves the same things I do. Then I wouldn't be a single pringle no more.   2 reply
