That one time

Basically, after a bit of pressure from my friends, I ended up making an okcupid account. And even though I was on there for several months and got lots of messages, I did not go on a single date. People kept wanting to meet up before we had been talking for a while. And while I was told by my more experienced friends that they just want to get to know me irl, I was honestly pretty creeped out. I'm a demiromantic ace, so the ideal of going on a date with someone I've not talked to for a while makes no sense to me.

I've since deleted the account and decided I'm just gonna have to look for a boyfriend the old fashioned way.
