people can like evil/ morally corrupt characters
it's true.
some characters are really messed up, and have done terrible things.
but you know what, if a person likes them then you can't stop them from doing so.
real life morals and fiction have got a very deep link, especially when fiction does derive from the feelings and scenarios that real life people can relate to or feel a kinship with.
but regardless of these issues, i feel like people just like who they like.
p.s. i think it's an added bonus to like an evil character; whilst being aware of their misdeeds.
it was so tough for me to do it at first! but then i realized that in reality too, humans don't need to accept everything about a person to claim that they like them.
As long as people don't try to justify their actions and can call them out on the crazy shit they do, I don't see why someone can't like villains or morally corrupt characters while simultaneously being critical of them. When someone tries to justify their actions, that is when it becomes a problem.

I do think like, yes it is okay to look at morality of fiction and talk about what you dislike about fiction.
But disliking a piece of media doesn't always then mean that you need to cancel culture it.
A person can judge a piece of media critically as well as enjoy it.
Life is short, you gotta do what you gotta do.

In my case, I love their freedom. How they have this unchained personality to commit even the greatest sins. I’m envious of their carefree nature and the way they go against all odds. Evil is a human perception and it’s important to remember that I guess. Unlike most who are terrified of the inevitable consequences they take that dive without a......
