As long as people don't try to justify their actions and can call them out on the crazy shit they do, I don't see why someone can't like villains or morally corrupt characters while simultaneously being critical of them. When someone tries to justify their actions, that is when it becomes a problem.   reply

Honestly tho. I agree, but what I can't get behind is when they do that with real life people (serial killers and such). Like have you seen their post about them "teehee (insert famouse killer Ted bundy, ect) their so cute. I do think like, yes it is okay to look at morality of fiction and talk about what you dislike about fiction. But disliking a piece of media doesn't always then mean that you need to cancel culture it. A person can judge a piece of media critically as well as enjoy it.
