I slowly stopped reading yaoi. The only reason I started was because I was sick of shojo but honestly yaoi isn't much better.
First of all we've got the fetishizing fan base and toxic shit such as the cloudy consent.
The second reason is mostly because it feels disrespectful to the lgbtq community. Its disturbing to see the fetishization/romantic......
