Yaoi readers: who reads yaoi?

16, female, African American ayyy, asexual, Douglas (very small town in Georgia) I've always been interested in gay books mainly because on wattpad the straight ones be about THE SAME THING AND THEY WERE SO BORING and sex scenes were trash and I was only 11-12 when I first started on wattpad then when I turned 15 I was like "is there a such thing as gay hentai"...... hence here I am 16 years old discovering what fetishes I seem to have despite not wanting to have sex and reading a yaoi book everyday. (๑•ㅂ•)و✧ also I honestly tried to read a shoujo but it was so corny lol the girls be the same. Helpless and cry babies and they always want older men. I have a high tolerance for corny yaois it's gotta be pretty over the top for me and I'll still read it lol unless it's boring then I won't.
