I've watched Yaoi with my parents!

I've watched Love Stage and Junjou Romatica 3 with my mother and I've even seen a couple episodes of Dramatical Murder with my dad, although that wasn't entirely intentional. They've seen my gay art prints and computer desktop backgrounds, there's no point in hiding it. I'd of course never watch anything too wild with my parents around, but I watch all my anime on the TV in the living room and they like to come in a sit with me so it just happens. My mother says ew at the kiss scenes and stuff but in the end she actually really enjoyed Love Stage and somehow got invested into Junjou Romatica, it wasn't awkward or weird at all. I mean I watch anime with my dad all the time and watch korean dramas (which are also overly dramatic romance filled with ridiculous scenarios ) with my mum, so really Yaoi anime isn't much of a stretch from those.
