I'm younger than you so I'm not the wisest person but you really have to out yourself out there to meet them. You already answered your own question. Even when you put yourself out there, it's not easy finding the one. I'm far from a dating expert, I haven't found my one and I only speak from my previous relationships (8). I feel represented by this thread lol I'm 23 (almost 24) and never been in a proper relationship, closest to it was a 1 to 2 weeks fling during a overseas vacation... which was pretty much nothing as we never talked feelings or dating proposals. Well i am 23. And I don't know what I really want in life.. Same with relationships.. First I want a lovey-dovey story in my life..
