A “capture target” is one of the characters you can “capture”. Which usually means date and/or marry. The MC (main character) of the game is the person playing. The capture targets are the people they can potentially get with depending on the choices they make. reply
A capture target is usually one of the love interests in a Otome game I think. I only know this from my experience reading isekai manga so I could be wrong.
