my first time reading yaoi was koisuru boukun and let me tell you i legit cried, my feelings were complicated (?) like i felt uncomfortable reading it but at the same time intrigued with the story, and since i was new to the m/m relationships and the hardcore sex, i actually skipped the scenes where they do it lol it took me like a few months later and a bunch of reading other mangas that i felt comfortable in reading thru them. ngl at first, i avoided BL like the plague before because i was in that mindset where boyxgirl is the ideal relationship and now my "horizons have been expanded" if that makes sense haha i've come so far since then and i don't regret it
