Plot twist but its shitty

Confessed in year 10 to my guy friend who was a year above me (thank god otherwise class would've been even more awkward). I basically called him to have a chat while just walking around the school during break. It went something like this:

Me: "I like you, like more-than-friends like you."

Him: "sorry, I appreciate it but I only see you as a friend...plus I'm actually secretly dating Amy" (one of my friends).

Me: "oh!....oh, okay"

Lemme tell you, i was SHOOK.

He obviously had to tell Amy who then confronted me that he had told her and I was like "its fine, it was only a crush" . Nonetheless, kinda got awkward for a while until we went back to normal.

And that's the sad story of my first and last ever confession
