Hey asexual people, why do you like yaoi?

I'm actually asexual myself and I was quite surprised to see so many people who are also ace on this site! This is a question I've been asked before and I'm curious as to how others might answer as well.

Personally, I really enjoy reading about relationships between other people. I think that there's a part of me who really likes that fact that BL is between two boys, and that I (as a girl) could never put myself in either character's place.

I like reading about relationship dynamics and seeing how the characters develop. I read other genres too, but I find that the dynamics that I like tend to only happen in yaoi. There also seem to be better characters. Plus, I love a lot of the drawing styles. reply
