Bruh, kanji is the hardest. I took japanese classes for almost two years and studied over 200 kanjis, but I only remember 40-50 kanjis.   reply

I didn’t start learning solely because of anime. And contrary to what some may believe, watching anime subbed while simultaneously learning Japanese does not help you learn much. What they’re actually saying is very different from what the subtitles say. Japanese sentence structure is SOV and English is SVO. Those two things make watching anim......   reply

Long time ago I studied basic Japanese hard to watch anime without subtitles ,along my journey I learned katakana and hiragana ,but gave up on kanji since what's the point if I don't live in Japan lol ,basically now I forgot all Japanese letters but I would remember them if I studied again , and I now understand Japanese without subtitles ,so sinc......   reply

i actually learned how to speak japanese from anime LMAO, i then learned how to write and the grammar rules and all that stuff. たのしかった!!   reply

I’m in middle school and plan on taking japanese in high school. Kanji I’ve heard it’s the hardest I have pronunciation down (not really) I know lots of phrases cause of anime and can sometimes understand the rough meaning when someone says something but I’m still learning.   reply
