Yaoi and Shounen Ai in media is just tactless Shoujo masquerading as LGBT representation when anyone who isn’t a 12-14 year old girl can realize it’s just an idiotic marketing tactic. Yuri on Ice was queerbait and y'all need to stop putting it on a pedestal when they literally didn't show them kissing on purpose and as such left enough room for the "they're just friends" people to gaslight lgbt+ people about it. And no, it doesn't matter if they "didn't intend" to do that. That does not make the result any different.   reply
