Am I the only one??
Idk but when one of my closest friends get into thing that I'm not that interested in.....I feel uncomfortable. Part of the reason is that I had an ancident 1 year ago when my closest best friend got into k-pop . I was like cool. I don't hate k-pop nor that i'm obssesed with it. But little did I know that my bestie has turned from a weeaboo to a koreaboo. It was summer break when she told me that and we were texting each other through IG. She kept blabbing non-stop about k-pop boy bands and stuff like that. But I didn't know what the hell she was talking about so she texted "you seem fishy" but I just replied with "u think so" we kept talking but I kept trying my hardest to get in her koreaboo level. Oh and here's one convo we had
Me: so.....nanatsu no taizai S2 is coming up! *blabbing more otaku stuff*
Her: ugh plz dnt get me back to the anime life...
Me: .... Okai?
Her: *blabbing*
But then when she knew that I'm not that koreaboo-ish for her she said
"Get out of my life I regret meeting you bi**h"
At that time I felt like my heart just melting. I swear I kept 3 month thinking about this. But then the SADNESS turned into ANGER and HATRED. I had a diary FULL of hatred of her. But then it really REALLY effected my heart that I couldn't sleep comfortably at night. But right on new year Eve I was like "u know what. I don't care what she likes. What she hates. She will and could NOT change me! She lives her own life. I live mine" . of course there's school. Well she transferred to a private school so I hadn't seen her since our graduation party from last year. When she was a weeaboo. BUT the only problem is that she has a close best friend whom I'm friends with right now. They Skype each other almost daily. So whenever her bestie talk to me about her I get a little uncomfortable. Ever since that imcident happened i feel incomfrotable when seeing k-dramas with my sisters. And let's make a nickname for that friend.....banana-chan!
Banana-chan is a gamer and a somewhat an otaku. She's the type that don't mind having new interests! And she JUST got into k-dramas. That's a problem.....not anymore. I decided to be the person who have many intrests and doesn't give a damn about other's opinion about it. Plus, I could learn (somewhat) a fourth language (well I think Japanese count as half sooo 1/2 + 1/2 + 1 + 1 = 3 languages)!
But.... My laptop is not available now T - T rip laptop
That was a long one! Well. I'm happy with my current life and my bff won't tell me wat k-dramas she's obsessed with but hey, I hope u have a great day~! (๑•ㅂ•)و✧
(Sorry if there's weird mistakes up there. I'm just to lazy to fix it)
I don't really have any advice to give you, sorry to hear that you lost a friend, but people change and that's life. Me and my friends are into many different things, like I'm into yaoi, some are into marvel, sports, knives, animes, homestuck etc. And that's fine. I like to listen to my friends talk about the things they like, although I understand......
