Does anybody else who reads shounen ai and yaoi have a problem with reading girlxboy relationship mangas, i have a weird problem where it kinda disgusts me, im not against it or anything but like i cant stand to read it for some reason ┑(￣Д ￣)┍
So do I ! It annoys me ( & I'm straight ) so I don't get it . I almost hate it even , can't read . There's only 3 exceptions where I do like it but that's it . I wouldn't call it disgust , but it is a similar feeling though （￣へ￣） 2 reply

Who knows ? But I used to like shoujo before reading yaoi actually . Afterwards I just stopped reading it because I couldn't anymore x) xiaomei_93
I totally get the feeling.. I'm like that too. And I'm straight.. I also wonder why (≧∀≦) so I thought it's just the cliché, the way female characters are often the annoying, bimbo type in yaois. XD some mangas are better, the female character is actually quite decent. I'm fine with those xD But still not digging shoujo xD

I hate shoujo now actually xD The only exceptions , in my case , are Fairy Tail , Nurarihyon no Mago , Mouryou no Yurikago & Reborn . And even in them , I despise most of the female characters & some males too （￣へ￣）
Does it probably have something to do with the female mc is normally portrayed in the manga?
