Yep, but probably for a different reason. I actually came across a shoujo/smut manga at the local library (surprise! I bet they didn't know it had sex in it). Curiosity led me to online scanlations and then to yaoi. Oh my god I feel the same. It's not really disgusting but it's just cringey in a way? Idk, I do cringe in a lot of yaoi and shounen ai mangas but not as much as shoujo. I can probably handle josei if I tried, but most shoujos are just too much for me.   reply

I myself became uninterested about girlxboy relationships after I've fallen for yaoi, but I've watched an anime recently, Kuzu no Honkai, that makes me reconnect with girlxboy because it shows true feelings, deep and powerful and it was very interesting, so if you're feeling like it, you should definitely try ! The one thing that disgusts me, when it comes to manga, is when the uke is REALLY slutty (some cases, it's fine), or just looks like a chick with a dick. Cause really...
