history with yaoi.

my first yaoi in general, was probably through the hallyu/korean wave. i was/still am but is currently on hiatus, and avid korean roleplayer. i used to anime-roleplay on facebook, until twitter roleplay (real-person-faceclaim based) hit me in the face. i met a ton of people there, and i also started to find out what homosexuality was (and realized i was bisexual myself). then, i started to really love homosexual relationships more than straight (don't get me wrong, straight couples are insanely cute, i just prefer to observe homosexual couples more, be it the males or females) and started to become a fan of those 'ships' or 'pairings' for the korean groups (baekyeol, hunhan, eunhae, taeny, yulsic, etc). afterwards came the fanfictions from asianfanfics. i used to actually be in a really tight relationship with anime and japan since i was little (ever since i could remember, actually) due to my father, but when i got into the korean wave, it sort of slowly dissipated, and all i did was listen to korean music/watch korean variety shows until i also started reading fanfictions. lastly, was when i got back into anime due to my friends. my first yaoi manga was a dj. i forgot which anime's fanmade book dj. it was either knk, free, or haikyuu. from all of the yaoi sex i've read in fanfictions, yaoi drawn smut really made me feel even more happy and satisfied, especially with all of the right tones and inkings. i really saluted the mangakas, and i still do. they are incredible with their works. the first yaoi manga that was made from a professional mangaka, was probably junketsu drop via a friend's recommendation. it was really amazing, and i really loved it, and then i just started to read all the mangas i could find that i thought would suit my taste (which isn't really picky, save for personal preferences). now, i can't last even a second without mangas, and all of my friends are super done with me calling/messaging/dm-ing them at 4.00 a.m. to rant about mangas. plus, they've been traumatized due to my gallery. oops. oh, well. more yaoi for me.
