SO i question the bible

Wait! Let me explain, so when you read the bible you're told about the creation of the world aka earth, but it never mentions the galaxy or the other planets. Why is that? Or am i just stupid and it dose mention all that. Also what if all the religions are true and we have just a dozen gods. Can someone answer these questions?? ╥﹏╥

bible is sus in the first place, it sounds like a fictional book, so i just take it as a book filled with stories that have moral lessons or something. i mean i only go to church because the stories in the bible told by the priests during masses sound interesting lol reply

In my opinion, why the bible did not mention other planets was because, God was focused on the creation of life and planet Earth. It wouldn't make sense why the bible all of a sudden started talking about the creation of other planets when God was gonna literally populate Earth and not a random planet. Idk. I just mix everything up like the way god created the world is through big bang and then the seven days as the creation as the evolution like no one can say what's the seven days on God's time is and anything was just backing up Bible by science. reply

I kinda question it too and the church, i believe in god but i'm not sure about the stuffs on the bible 'cus its translated language to language the translator might have changed stuffs while translating or sumthing. The church isn't also believable not all priest, nuns, etc. are holy also the pope is just like a title or sumthing reply

The bible is not supposed to be taken literally. It's was written by a bunch of men that even though they were inspired by God, God wouldn't explain everything to them because they wouldn't be able to understand. There are many symbolic parts, especially numerology, and some of them could've been inspired by other religions at the time. It cannot ...... 1 reply

I'll try to be respectful. I'm not a believer and I'm a deist myself. I think people from the past have no concept of "world" or "planets" before. It seems that a lot of stories in the bible are not to be taken literally and are just metaphorical or smth.
