It`s the preparation
My favorite Foods always have the same style of preparation: It starts with the base. What I mean is, in the oriental kitchen, whatever you are cooking (based on stew- like, or watery dishes) starts with a sauce. In my family, whether it is beans, meat, potatoes, vegetables, well, almost everything, it gets prepared by firstly caramelizing onions and garlic, adding tomato or pepper paste and, the important ingredient, broth. Aaah I don`t know, but out of the many dishes I ever ate or tried, These homemade dishes can`t be surpassed, even though they are SO SIMPLE. After you make the sauce you literally just throw in whatever and it comes out perfectly ლ(´ڡ`ლ)
