I love Jrock! My favorite band will and always will be Dir en grey. I always try to see them live as much as possible. I also listen to girugamesh, the Gazette, One Ok Rock, Buck-Tick, SID, cinema staff, Nico touches the wall, D'erlanger etc. Capsule is also cool electronic group that is fun to listen too. Also I recommend, if you have a chance, to listen too mass of the fermenting dregs. My favorite song from theirs is "if a surfer" it's so good!
Woah, what's wrong with Vocaloid, it's j-music too? Behind the avatars there are very talented artists?? they don't deserve recognition?? uuUHhHhH?? I understand you probably don't want people to say something like "Miku is my fav singerrrrr!" but it's a little unfair for the producers, uh.
Anyway, I really like japanese modern music P: It's so different, and the language is so musical <3 I don't like pop musical, but when it comes to Japanese... I can't go against it, I like it :T I usually listen to Bump of Chicken, Maximum the Hormone, Ali Project, Sound Horizon, Tsukiko Amano and Versailles. Yeah, it's a mix of genres hahaha
I do think Vocalo-musicians deserve respect and recognition, and since Vocalo-music is what I listen to most of the time, my favorites are without dubt mothy, Machigerita (god damn it, I don't really like Visual but oh boy this man!), Hitoshizuku, 164, Utsu, hidaritsuu/Caste-P, Nashimoto, Hachi, ATOLS, Babuchan, Kikuo, Noboru, Rocka, sasakure.UK... ah, so many of them. How could I tell all of them aahahahha
I have nothing against Vocaloid, sorry if I offended you. I just don't listen to them anymore and wanted to talk with ppl about the kind of music I like. If you don't like it you can always make your own Voca-themed thread without accusing others of hating. Thanks :)

Hey, don't take it like that. I didn't accuse you of hating, I even said that I understand that you didn't want people to go only saying "Vocaloid is the best Japanese band!!" and so, but I still like it? And probably other people who listen to your favorite bands listen to Vocaloid too. I just wanted to say that I don't think it's fair to not recognize Vocaloid artists as j-music, since I love j-music too. I don't think what I said was that bad.
