A well-written yandere would be a real mentally deranged person, not just a Yuki spouting bitch (still like Yuno a bit). I don't really read/watch yandere things that much anymore, so I don't know if it's overdone. I guess my favorite type of yandere is the one where they're so insane it starts to make sense.
