Pedophilia (real pedophilia, not underage fictional characters) is terrible. It's also not curable, not with all the therapy in the world. Studies have shown pedophiles do not stop being pedophiles.
It's uncertain whether it's more of a disorder than a sexual orientation and which it is, imo, are likely case-dependent.
