As for manga/webtoons, the first one I read was Katekyo/Oshiete Katekyo and it *kinda* got me into them but the one that definitely did it for me was Starfighter Comic.
As for anime, I think it was Attack on Titan or Boku No Hero. I usually watch the anime first then read the manga, so watching these two kinda cemented my love for manga.
