The plot has to be fairly good, but the art shouldn't be lacking too much. If the balance between plot and smut is good, then I like it. What I don't like as much is rape, because it's become boring since it happens so often. I hate boring or repeatedly used plot. Oh and even though I hate children, I really like them in Yaoi for some reason.
