EXACTLYYYYY I mean it seems that they aren't even trying to put out a good message to their audience. Like this Mulan is FREAKING PERFECT. I'm not kidding, but she really is shown to be perfect and badass from the day she was born. There is no character development because she literally doesn't need it.
