why do you want to have sex with your boyfriend or girlfriend?

This is actually a pretty good question. It's an important thing for my friends and family but as I am asexual, I treat it basically as a theory and cannot understand the desire for it. i don't have one. never will. lol.... but it's not funny because i might seriously end up alone. i have no interest in men right now. just crushes that i have no energy to pursue. if i had to pick between putting the effort of having a bf or laying around my room, i pick the latter. but if i did have one, i might want to have sex because i heard it......   reply

Don't have one, however when I did, I didn't want to have sex with him. We both just wanted to cuddle and kiss (but never did since it was long distance). I've grown up believing, and still continuing to believe, that first kisses and virginity were things you couldn't just lose so easily. Don't have one. Never did it. But I've felt the urge to do it multiple times with a special one.. So, from that experience, it was like wanting to go further than the skin, to touch more than the tongue, to somehow merge even if merging means that the "other" does'nt existe anymore and you can't hold onto him/her. Because they're your bf/gf... XD I just can't imagine people that become boyfriend/girlfriend, and never want to have sex or think about it... at that point it'd be more of an intimate friendship or famliy, than a bf/gf couple.   3 reply
