I'm straight, i can guess some reasons lol:
1) They like dick. Straight women like males, 2 males getting together is like... "oh i like dudes and these are 2 dudes, i'm getting what i like x2". Same thing goes for straight dudes but with women ig
2) It's different from their lifestyle. Some people see the difference with how gays live and figure......
