TRIGGER WARNING - SELF HARM
i put a tw in the title but im gonna say it again, please dont read further if you are affected by talk abt self harm.
ive started cutting. shit just got so bad with my parents, stressing over school, body image, and cutting just, idk, soothes it? i mean, i hate it, and wish i never started, but now i cant stop myself. usually i cut at the top of my thighs and my shoulders, so i can still wear tshirts and (some) shorts without showing my scars.
however, i have a problem. i do swim club, and before you say 'just quit if you dont want ppl to see your scars', i cant do that for reasons i dont wanna specify.
my swim club starts in a few weeks, so does anyone have tips for covering scars? or maybe excuses to get out of doing sport for a day? or reasons to explain scars? anything would be helpful.
stressing over scars is making me want to cut more. i hate my sad ass life.
1. Please stop hurting your body, you only have one. Instead, try other methods to relieve your stress. It can be tough adjusting but harming yourself isn't the best option.
2. Have you tried wearing a full swimsuit? Those might be able to hide them.
