How do you usually spend or like to spend your birthday?

I have been noticing recently that many people close to me usually spend their birthday alone or with few close friends, usually at home, many either because of lack of time or because of lack of interest surrounding the whole birthday thing. I wonder how users of mangago like to spend that day. Care do share you experience?

A birthday party with friends! Well last year I turned 18 and had planned on chilling at home reading manga/ watching Netflix or the like. But since both of my parents forgot about it (my sister remembered) they felt bad and decided that we go and eat out. It was a nice surprise! Expecially when I had had a bad day.
