masterpiece for sure, but not a good representation:
- Fetishism of gay sex
- Both are straight but you know just... waiting for the right girl
- Minor x Adult. not a good relationship tho.

I read both the book and the movie from CMBYN and the two characters are definitely queer, elio explicitly expresses sexual fluidity and how beauty does not fit in a binary, however due to everything being set in the past, they decide to decline their queerness and live out heteronormative roles. My intentions aren't to defend the book/movie becaus...... reply
