internet friends?

my best friend have a lot of internet friends. when she tells me about her internet friends I feel it's really fun but... i'm an introverted awkward turtle that don't know how to start a conversation. plus, I have a horrible accent so if someone will call me. they'll think I sound funny #－.－) do u have some tips to save dis awkward turtle out?

Not a lot of them, but I do have some. Actually, unexpectedly I found one on this site and I really enjoy talking and discussing various topics with her! Don't worry about your accent, a lot of people here are not native English speakers. As for the tips: participate in or start a topic/ question you're really interested into.
