i cant make virtual friends

so, i joined this server on discord and all the people there are like the sweetest and most welcoming people ever, however, i cant have a proper conversation with them. I always get conscious while talking cuz im afraid i will make them uncomfortable, or they'll come to dislike me. Besides that, they were all friends before i arrived so i kinda feel like an outcast ( tho i know this is completely not their fault).Anyways, i just wanted to get this out of my chest. Have yall ever experienced something similar?
