both are baaaad,, neither shoujo or bl are inherently unhealthy but people come onto more contact with straight relationships than they do gays and yknow it might create a certain outlook. that being said abusive relationships shouldn’t be romanticized no matter what relationship is portrayed   reply

To me, being unable to differentiate yaoi/bl from gays in real life is not right. But then you definetly have a point that we do the same for heterosexual relationships : I think people just notice it less bc yaois have a more "negative" point of view on them since they're homosexual relationships (yes we r in 2020 and still facing such problems). ......   reply
