I think this question is kind of hard because it's so subjective imo. But for me what makes or breaks a story are the characters. They don't even have to be the best characters as long as they 1. actually do shit 2. Have personalities.

Short stories like The Paper Menagerie or Drinking Coffee Elsewhere (really good stories I highly recommend.) I also need some new short story recommendations.

What have you been writing lately? Currently I have over 230+ pages of origin story for my OC that I've been obsessed with.

For those that don't know what an Anthology is it's basically a collection of short stories/ poems/ or any other written media.

my family knows I'm pansexual and they are fine with it but when my sister came out as bi my parents said she was offending the LGBTQ+ community for wanting to be bisexual like how does that make sense and then they said at least she was half straight so she was somewhat normal. But they allow me to be pansexual I don't understand like pls explain.

Just write any thing that you hate/don't like in ML/male character.

I am so tired of seeing black hair and blue eyes male characters. There are way to many guys with black hair blue eyes (oh and don't forget they're always arrogant). I'm generalising it a lot don't be mad at me please

If you think aging up characters that are MINORS just to sexualize them is okay, dni. you're gross as fuck and I could go on and on about the stuff I would do to stay away from a shitty person like you.

Is there a manga/hwa/hua everyone like but you hate/don't like it?

I don't like "suddenly became a princess one day" (─.─||).
I read the novel and it's so good, but the manhwa made it way to dramatic and just changed almost everything (the plot) after Claude lost his memories... I haven't read it in a while so maybe what I'm saying is irrelevant tho (٥↼_↼)

Just some things that you don't like when reading a historical manhwa/Ga/hua

I'm gonna start :
In manhwas where the Mc reincarnated as the villainess/ an extra (anything, but the FL of the novel), I really hate it when they say shit like "he can't like me" "he's meant to be with the FL". I get where they're coming from, but it's lowkey disrespectful to the ML. He likes her and all (he confessed, show her how much he appreciates her etc) and she just invalidate his emotions "because it's not meant to be". Unless that's the setting of the story (like she can't change her fate), I find that so annoying.
