So I read this one story that just popped back into my memory that I wanted to reread but I couldn't think of the name or find it in my already reads. It was basically about this one famous swimmer/diver who was said to be really beautiful but he ended up retiring and the main character found them when the swimmer/diver was older like in the 50s and confessed to them making the man self conscious about himself saying that he wasn't beautiful anymore but he main kept confessing and later his feeling went through. Some other context was one of the reasons he retired was because of a scandal that he was only at the top of the swimming world was cause he was sleeping with his coach selling his body for the top spot basically. Idk if that's enough to have someone know the same story but I thought the story was nice but I couldn't think of the name

A lot of messed up things I've seen are revenge plots that take it too far an example Brutal: Satsujin Kansatsukan no Kokuhaku
Dan(Brutal) the mc does some messed up stuff to criminals that often involve shoving painful objects where they shouldn't go.(Mostly cuz a lot of the people dan kills are rapist and sexual assulters )

Recently this one: Homunculus, It's about a homeless man who agreed to to have a lobotomy, and you'd assume his life would go bad as a result, but his life was already uhh fucked from the start of the story (I wont spoil it).
