So I want some heeelp I want to proofread stories that will not downgrade the quality of a manhwa, manhua, and manga so pls some experienced proofreaders there pls message me I need help and guidance. Idk I just find it kinda weird on how a lot of people think English is like the default language or something. Not that you said anything like that tho just saying that I’ve seen that a lot. But who am I to talk English is the only language I know ( ̄∇ ̄")   1 reply

The reason is written in all the typical paperback mangas I read, Japanese is read from up to down, right to left, and while there is the option of flipping the imagery during translation for the English or general left to right reading crowd, it compromises the original intention of the art, for example, the artist may have drawn a character with ......   reply

I'm honestly going to be surprised y'all wouldn't know. You indulge in japense culture but dont know the basics or cared to do research on why is just shocking. Anyways, originally, many East Asian country's read from top to bottom or the other way around, I honestly can't remember what my grandparents said, and for Japan in this case, right to lef......   2 reply

ive read an article before that its right to left bc japanese is originally written top to bottom and the line break is right to left. they only started taking on more westernized style decades later but the top to bottom, right to left format is still being widely used for example: vertical format - newspaper, novel, manga westernized format - t......   reply
