My favorite Foods always have the same style of preparation: It starts with the base. What I mean is, in the oriental kitchen, whatever you are cooking (based on stew- like, or watery dishes) starts with a sauce. Personally, I'm a big fan of barbecued eel over rice. Aside from that, I make a lot of smoothies. Frozen bananas, blueberries, strawberries, spinach, ginger root, and almond milk—that's my go-to mix. I can and will eat avocados all year round. Definitely my favorite food. Otherwise, my favorites dishes to eat shift through the seasons. All of them are vegetable dishes I created with the whole foods I buy. One I eat year round now is a vegetable-base hash with a custom rice cooking recipe. For me, I don't have one particular favorite dish, but I prefer dishes with white meat like poultry or rabbit. I also love dishes with fresh caught tuna and octopus (like octopus rice tanoeiro style - it's a traditional portuguese dish where the octopus is cooked in wine until tender in a pressure cook, then seasoned with salt, garlic and paprika. ......   1 reply

Phew...just looking at nicely presented food can make me drool. Which can be a dilemma when eating out! I love to eat all kinds of food (at least try it once!) so choosing a specific dish is always a problem. I have noticed with age though my palate has become more savoury inclined and sweeter things in smaller quantities will suffice. If I have to......   reply
