I love my parent, but they definitely arent even near the word perfect. My mom has an issue of trauma dumping and victim mentality while my dad is short temper. Many times i feel tired because of it and not to mention their high expectation really is a heavy weight for me but nonetheless I love them. They got their issue but they do care so much fo......   1 reply

I love and hate them at the same time . It's a love hate relationship. They gave me both good memories and truama and trust issues. I mean they are also human so it's kinda understandable. It's also their first time living and parenting. Well... Idk. They are bad and good at the same time   reply

I think it's normal to hate them, they are human too and as their children we face every one of their mistakes head on. Taking them for granted is normal too, you don't have to see reason in their every abusive action, and rationalize every hurtful word, which means you don't have to be grateful for every half decent thing they say or do either. ......   reply

It's okay to not like them just don’t hurt them in any way. You don’t have to do everything they say just keep it peaceful. I'm really happy the way my parents treat me but they are not perfect which sometime makes me dislike them but i dont show this to them. They can't be perfect just like i can't. I just don’t go and be a bitch about it. B......   1 reply

I love my mother for the numerous amount of things she has done for me but hate her bigoted views. The words she would say could cut like a knife and following that blindly is what made me spread that hate when I was younger. Appreciating, loving, and hating your parents are normal since they all have their flaws but it's the trauma that they unkno......   reply
