Being Awake For Far Too Long

I don't have insomnia, but I really couldn't sleep. I woke up to school at 7 am, and couldn't sleep at night. I even had a test the other day. When I got home I ate something and suddenly on the evening I felt dizzy and had illusions. It scared the shit out of me and i felt high. Eventually I fell asleep around 10 pm. ...and still have to deal with it sometimes. I feel less alone reading other people's experiences, but I wish no one had to experience insomnia. It can be a real struggle to deal with.   reply

We had a summer camp that lasted for 2 weeks... and during the first week, I just can't sleep... and I always end up taking a walk at 4 am and showering before them. That time... Depends on what it is tbh. There's just some things I can't do. If it's within reason, then yeah, totally, I'd be down to try anything. But once it starts hitting that certain boundary point, I gotta say no. But I know my boundaries and what I like and dislike. I go to bed at 4:30-5am every morning. If I'm not asleep within an hour, I'm probably only going to get 4hrs of sleep & piss the night away reading comics.   3 reply
