Ikr? I also love negative characters, they're what makes the story fascinating (from my point of view ofc) and there's nothing wrong with that. I think the majority of people who say that you need therapy for liking them just didn't understand what you truly mean ╮( ̄▽ ̄)╭   reply

Characters are fictional and are not reflective of your real life mental health. The "need therapy" comment is sarcastic.   1 reply

i dont really think that telling someone to get therapy bc they find interesting a 'dark' character is fair lol. like, if someone AGREES with the character's beliefs or actions, well maybe that person really should get checked up. but just finding a character interesting is not bad. for example, i dont like hisoka, i think he's messed up and i def ......   reply

Oopsies, I accidentally deleted my answer because I thought I misunderstood the question. But yeah! I was right. I was hated on because I loved Draco's Dad even though he was a villain. But, I never liked him because of how he acts, I mostly liked him because of his looks. And same for 2d characters, Hisoka for an example, I don't like him becaus......   2 reply

A question. Don't fight. Why if someone - anyone - likes a negative character, saying they find them interesting perhaps on a psychological level, is supposed to go on therapy? Obviously, they also tell you that they don't excuse their wrongdoings fictionally just as in reality, so they would be horrified by it in real life. It could be a murderer, rapist, thief, abuser, etc.
Why this person is supposed to need therapy, if they're just saying they find interesting a character? I mean, I've been liking villains or negative characters my whole life. Lord Voldemort, Death Eaters, Hannibal, Darth Vader, etc. I wanna keep this short, so yeah. What pushes you to claim they need therapy? It's something that happens only nowadays, when I was younger everyone stanned villains. No one had a problem with it. IDK.
