It's my love language and I get gifts for everyone, I give flowers and cookies when visiting someone's house, I give b-day gifts, I give gifts to celebrate someone's achievement. I don't you're "wrong" per se. I understand your disappointment. However, i think your expectations are not okay. Not everyone expresses themselves in the same way as you do. I %100 don't think you're a bad person, but I can see how this mindset is a little toxic and problematic. Wanting someone to get you something is totally normal. Does anyone feel little bit bad when in a someone give gifts to their friends, it doesn't always has to be something extravagant js small items to make their day? But you don't receive it?
Ofc they don't owe me anything for my friendship but it kinda makes me feel like im bit lacking? Or maybe I'm the wrong for seeking gifts in the first place

Probably the nintendo when i was around 9. I had never gotten anything so cool before especially because money was tight when I was a kid. My parents wanted to see my sisters and I be happy so they got three. I love them ┗( T﹏T )┛ reply
