As an Asian woman , I get uncomfortable when people change the race of a canonically Asian character since Asians are POC as well and it's also disrespectful changing the race of a canonically Asian character . I know not many people get represented in anime but please stop acting like Asians aren't POC too .   2 reply

If a character is officially one race/ethnicity/nationality/etc. then imo everyone should really leave that aspect alone, regardless of what it officially is or isn't. And honestly that goes for every official/"canon" aspect of a character. We're all visitors, guests when it comes to watching anime or reading manga or whatever. You wouldn't go to s......   reply
