I don’t think there would be any reason to hate them tbh (except for the nonsense petty reasons & jealousy). I like them a lot & feel proud of them! There music is amazing & they’ve broken through the bamboo ceiling that was limiting Asian artist from becoming globally well known. They're talented but not my kind of music. The only song I really liked was Spring Day and their newer songs are just meh imo. I think this has to do with their music catering to the Western market in recent years. Honestly the old days is more likable 2016 era is the year where I guess the last good music they have (for me) that I liked the most but now I don't listen to them. personally, I've never been a fan of BTS but my friend recently got me into them, and I really enjoy some of their music. I don't consider myself an "army", I just listen to them and don't want to be part of the fandom because it's toxic asf.   reply

I was a fan since early 2015 i really like them, but when they became famous and well known in Western I stopped stanning them bc of the toxic ARMYs. So toxic that I've experienced bullying, harassment and death threats. I don't hate BTS for that but hate the uncontrollable fans   reply
