I have litteraly been saying this for a while, yes there’s good Chinese manhua/bl but they’re far in between. That’s why most times I avoid Chinese manhua especially when they have that stereotypical Chinese manhua/bl artstyle   reply

It's getting harder for me to find stuff to read nowadays, chinese novels will have an interesting summary but the characters are so one-dimensional most of the times. There will be paragraphs over paragraphs praising the beauty/smarts of the MC (instead of like subtily showing it) or it's too insta love-y/perfect for me. And I agree I hate harem a......   reply

the mostly manhua art is a bit weird. You're so true for saying something about their expressions. They're either bland or poorly drawn. Their facial proportion is a bit off, too. I've seen mostly the eyes are kinda far apart?? and when they're drawing a surprised expression, yk like when the pupil shrink to further express the emotion on the drawi......   1 reply

I was hesitant about reading a novel once but I read the other novels by the same novelist, so I ended up being a part of the fandom. The people spoiled me about the unread novel so much that when I did end up reading it, I realized that I learnt more from the spoilers than from the actual novel. Also, may IK the name of the novel you just describe......   1 reply
