Y’all ever read some cringe fan fiction on ao3 that isn’t a crack fic? I took a break from here to go back to reading some of my old fav fanfics. And at first I was like “ah yes, the familiar bull shit plot, oh how I’ve missed thee”

I honestly forgot how much I turned off my brain when reading basically anything online. Like that was legit one of my favs when I was in high school or whatever and now rereading it??? Time to turn off the old brain machine again I guess— ╮(￣▽￣)╭

I can't find any new mangas to see, so let's go back to reading books. Any genre would do.
So, for some background context, it is currently 2:50 am in the dead of the night here and I have a major MAJOR day ahead that is filled with exams-that-are-extremely-important-for-my-future, and that is not only for this day, but for the rest of the week (yay me). But, being the entire waste of school fees and hard work that I am, I didn't study but instead continued to read this book. Everything's fine because I like this book, right? It's a love story between two working men with issues who are fake dating that becomes real and has sweet moments and I am trying to distract myself from guilt of not studying by reminding myself that it's a good book and when it's finished I'll feel fulfilled. BUT GUESS WHAT?? THIS GODDAMN BOOK ENDS WITH A TOTALLY UNNECESSARY, UNCALLED BREAK UP WHICH LEAVES OUR MC MISERABLE AND I AM HERE WONDERING WHAT I JUST WASTED ALL MY HOURS NOT-STUDYING UPON BUT NOW I CAN'T GET MY TIME BACK TO NOT READ THIS SHITTY BOOK SO THAT I DON'T GET A SHITTY ENDING, BUT I FREAKING WELL CAN'T AND I CAN'T EVEN RANT ABOUT IT TO ANYONE AROUND ME CAUSE EVERYONE WHO I LIVE WITH ARE HOMOPHOBIC JERKS AND I JUST- I hate what I am feeling right now and I hate myself. (If you read all this, first, thank you, and second, sorry I wasted like, 180 something seconds of your life)
I’m crying and sobbing right now. Because I can’t read Solo Leveling’s novel on a fucking good website. Like please I’m begging you guys. Can someone please give me the link for reading the Solo Leveling novel? And the useless website I’m fucking reading right now, just went and fucking did it. They fucking skipped the part where it was getting SO MUCH FUCKING TENSION until THE FUCKING END

I believe it was a book on Wattpad, about a girl who enters an academy or something like that. She meets a powerful dude, and at first she didn’t like him. Then she finds out that she’s just like the dude, she has powers. Then she has to kill a dragon with the powerful dude, but shit happens and the dude has to self sacrifice himself.
I believe it was about magic. And there’s a part about the dude making an intricate spell to kill the dragon.
This was a series, and in the next book she’s old and wandering about the world, and the dude is still alive but he’s been in a coma for a long time. So she’s just waiting for him and kind of just existing and creating trouble. I also remember that he does wake up later on in the series, and they were granted a title but ended up not wanting it. The girl also has to solve political problems since the kingdom does a shitty job at it. I can’t find it on wattpad, and it was actually a good written book.
